I need help with this…I’ve never made a waist cincher, silly me thought it would be a fun little easy (did I just say EASY?!) afternoon project, and then I quickly had visions of making lots of them and selling them on Etsy and then quickly retiring to a sunny place on all the profits from my quick and easy project… oh, wait. First off, I DO already live in a sunny place where lots and lots of people retire too, and Secondly, I freelance, which translates to “doesn’t work outside of the home”, so…retire? Ok, scrap that bit of the fantasy, let’s move on shall we? Back to the pattern…I really did think it’d be a fun little project, but as you can read as I did, that it’s entirely confusing from the get go – or maybe I’m simply empty-headed or high? Am I high? No, I’m not high. WTF!

Right. Right-O! Got it! …argh! How do I piece it together when it’s one piece to begin with… oh…the drama that will ensue…
But, before we get into all that… THIS happened:
Friday, November 9, 2007
Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl (PHX) to Chicago O’Hare International (ORD)
Departure (PHX): November 9, 7:10 AM MST (morning)
Arrival (ORD): November 9, 11:25 AM CST (morning)
Chicago O’Hare International (ORD) to Milwaukee General Mitchell (MKE)
Departure (ORD): November 9, 12:35 PM CST (afternoon)
Arrival (MKE): November 9, 1:15 PM CST (afternoon)
My sis, Jen-Jen said to me, “…I was thinking that you could have bag parties – you know like pampered chef and Lia Sophia and this is how it would go – you bring six or ten bags of different styles and the fabric choices available and the women get to order what they want and if they want to buy one of them right there and then they can too. Feed them, drink them, walk around all cute like you are – the bags will fly off the shelves anyway you prolly had that idea already…………but that is the idea that just came to me unbidden this morning.”
And I said…well, well, well…yes, my dear, but only in YOUR neighborhood. And so the idea wedged it’s way into the crevices of my brain for the last 24 hours and today I went, yea, let’s do it. And so, I leave on the 9th of November for my sister’s in Wisconsin, and so from now until then I will be mighty mighty busy…and the waist cincher will have to wait (though, please send either through comments or email me, an explanation of what exactly you are to do, thank you.)
