Home from Napa last night, what an excellent little vacation, exactly the right amount of days and nights and activities and the best friends to hang with in the world. Ohhhh…yea.  New ironing board. Yea, really. I went crazy when I found this and had to have it. I’ll be making a cover for it this week. It has an attached sleeve board and a lower storage rack, it’s wider and more solid than your average ironing board, it’s heaven. On the wall behind the board is more of the My Beautiful City art quilt project that I haven’t been finding the time to work on.

And this little gem…seen on flickr by Ruth Singer, she so kindly offered to copy it for me and send it to me (for a very small fee, which I gladly paid), she’s a phenomenal sewist…go to her blog here.  I can’t wait to get working on it, after you know, all the other vintage patterns I have in the works.
