I need a sleeping mask for my trip, I think it’ll help tremendously on the plane…I went online looking for a pattern and was thrilled to find this one on Burda Style, you can get yours here. 

Here’s how I made mine…I used soft flannel for the exterior that touches your face, elastic instead of a ribbon, as I’ll mostly be using it sitting in a plane seat, I didn’t want a knot at the back of my head, and too elastic is more secure, I put a layer of cotton batting on the inside for blocking light and the exterior front in cute red cotton.

    This is brilliant, we have really light curtains in our bedroom so the sun is always coming in and waking us up. Will make some of these later, thanks for the tutorial :D
